Mr Yeung, a business owner based in Singapore, was new to the UK property market. He originally enquired about residential property schemes in London, but was dissuaded by the low rental yields and large cash input. After an initial consultation via phone, he decided student property was better suited to his needs due to the strong income streams it offers. We were able to meet Mr Yeung in person on one of our regular overseas trips to Asia. Ultimately, he purchased an off-plan student investment, for which we were able to appoint suitable legal representation as per his request. Given Mr Yeung was a non-UK resident, we were happy to assist with the NRL1 registration application on his behalf.
